When we first met Rose, she was in bad shape. As a senior, underweight, abandoned pit bull, her future didn’t look bright. Luckily, Barking Lot volunteer Melissa saw that spark of something special in Rose and took her in as a foster. Without Melissa and fosters like her, Rose and so many other great dogs wouldn’t have the opportunity to experience life as a cherished pet.
